This Is Our Planet, Let's Keep the Water Bodies Clean

As a part of ınstructional technologies and material design in English language lessons, we were assigned to create a video. İnstructor provided us three options for this project, such as creating a public service announcement (shortly PSA), how to do projects and a functional story. We were a group of three members and decided to create a public service announcement project.

 

We stand the “This Is Our Planet, Let's Keep the Water Bodies Clean” public announcement as the project topic. It focuses on calling to stop pouring cooking oil down the sink. To simplify the task process, we divided it into three parts. One member did research and vocalized the information he collected. Another written scenario and make a short video for it. And the last person responsible for editing the video combines with the recorded vocals. That was mine.

In the assignment, I took responsibility for editing and helped my friends record videos. Recording video was actually enjoyable, I think this part is the most enjoyable. When it comes to the video editing part, my main task, I really enjoyed it. to make the best video ever, I used the best video making software programme called Premiere pro. At the beginning everything was fine, but when I was about to finish my editing, the programme collapsed. All my hard work was for nothing and we were about to run time out. In the end, I made it on Capcut and everything was fine.

Hello everyone! For this given, I created a 60-second podcast where I talk about an inspiring idea that will help the world, with direct actions. In my episode, I portray a “Kindness Kiosk”, a small stand where every neighborhood can receive or have something useful, like options, books, notes of encouragement, or even a backup summary. It’s all about spreading simple, everyday kindness and reminding them that it’s not done alone. The easy part was coming up with the idea; I’ve always believed that small actions can make a big difference. The challenge was to write a script that fit perfectly within a minute, while still being meaningful and engaging. It was actually really fun to run, but I had to rerun it a few times to get the tone just right. I wanted it to be real, like I was speaking from my heart.
