Integrating AI into Grammar Instruction: "Must" vs. "Have to"

 Hello everyone and welcome back. I am excited to share our latest teaching material, an AI-integrated worksheet focused on the distinctions between "must" and "have to." This was a collaborative effort with my group members: Adem Bozkurt, Ekrem Başkara, and Berken Aytın.

For this project, I was responsible for designing the Target Task. My focus was on creating a structured prompt that students could use with Generative AI tools like Gemini or ChatGPT. The goal was to guide the AI to produce A2-level sentences that clearly illustrate the difference between internal and external obligation. By setting up this comparison, students can actively analyze how their original sentences differ from the AI-enhanced versions, fostering a deeper understanding of these grammar points.

The Flipped Classroom is a teaching method that reverses the traditional learning environment. This Is Our Planet, Let's Keep the Water Bodies Clean

As a part of ınstructional technologies and material design in English language lessons, we were assigned to create a video. İnstructor provided us three options for this project, such as creating a public service announcement (shortly PSA), how to do projects and a functional story. We were a group of three members and decided to create a public service announcement project.   We stand the “This Is Our Planet, Let's Keep the Water Bodies Clean” public announcement as the project topic. It focuses on calling to stop pouring cooking oil down the sink. To simplify the task process, we divided it into three parts. One member did research and vocalized the information he collected. Another written scenario and make a short video for it. And the last person responsible for editing the video combines with the recorded vocals. That was mine.
